What we do

Four ways to take a part
back to zero

Every alloy, coating and contaminant behaves differently. We pick the process, then tune the media blend and pressure to the part in front of us, not the other way around.

01

Vapor Honing

A pressurized slurry of water and fine media floats across the surface instead of hammering it. Oxidation, carbon and old coatings come off; the substrate doesn't. What's left is a uniform satin finish with no media embedded in the pores and no heat distortion in thin castings.

Best for: Cylinder heads · Carburetors · Cases · Aluminum castings

02

Ultrasonic Cleaning

Cavitation reaches where a nozzle physically cannot: jets, galleries, blind holes, threads. Parts come back clean internally, not just cosmetically, which is the difference between a carb that looks right and a carb that runs right.

Best for: Carburetors · Injectors · Small assemblies · Fine detail

03

Laser Rust & Paint Removal

Ablation lifts rust, paint and coatings off steel with no contact, no media and no substrate loss. There are no masking headaches, no grit trapped in a weld seam and no blast cabinet required, and it can be walked right up to an edge you need to keep sharp.

Best for: Frames · Tooling · Weld prep · Heavy steel

04

Polishing & Finishing

The last ten percent. Satin, brushed or full show polish, matched to the finish the part left the factory with, or the one you actually want on the bike. Media blend and pressure tuned per alloy so soft metals don't smear and hard ones don't streak.

Best for: Show builds · Covers · Trim · Display pieces

How it works

Three steps.
No mystery.

Ship it, drop it off, or bring the whole project. You'll know the price and the process before anything touches a cabinet.

01

Send it or drop it

Mail your parts or bring them to the Orange shop. Photos by text or email are enough for a first estimate. Tell us the alloy and the finish you're after.

02

We assess & quote

We identify the substrate, the contaminant and the risk points: bearing surfaces, sealing faces, threads. Then we quote a firm price and turnaround before we start.

03

Restore, inspect, return

We process, rinse, dry, treat for corrosion and inspect. Parts go back bagged and protected, ready to assemble, not ready for another round of cleanup.

The work

Watch it
come off

Forty seconds of laser ablation explains this better than a page of copy ever will. Tap either reel to watch it full size, with sound.

What a photo can't show you

A still shows the result. The video shows the process: how controlled the pass is, how fast the coating leaves, and how little happens to the metal underneath it.

That control is the whole job. It's the difference between a part that's clean and a part that's still usable.

Truck wheel

Baked on grime and surface rust off the face and around the lug holes, back to an even satin aluminum finish.

Two motorcycle cylinder jugs side by side, the left one vapor honed to bare aluminum and the right still carbon caked

One done, one waiting

Same jug, one pass apart. The left one is honed back to bare aluminum, the right still wears its carbon.

A single engine housing photographed mid job, the left half still dark with grime and the right half cleaned to bright aluminum

Stopped halfway

We stopped mid job on this housing so the line is visible. One half as it came in, the other cleaned to bright aluminum.
